For 11 years, Metafore has worked with an array of companies and organizations to address the environmental aspects of wood and paper. These relationships include convening peer learning groups, developing multi-stakeholder initiatives and providing tailored consulting.
We:

• Guide and advise the development of responsible purchasing policies for corporations.
  
  
• Manage a peer learning group of companies with the common goal of making environmentally responsible paper more widely available and affordable. We are also managing a multi-stakeholder dialogue to facilitate communication about paper and environmental issues across the supply chain.
  
  
• Built and now manage software tools providing information about certified forests, certified products and the environmental performance of paper.
  
  
• Developed and convened two major conferences showcasing leading companies, organizations, and thinkers on environmental trends in the forest products sector.
  
  
• Assessed the environmental performance of paper producers, and interviewed leading paper purchasers about environmental trends and priorities.
  
  
• Provide regular information about media coverage of innovative corporate environmental actions, and issues affecting companies that make and buy forest products.
  
  
• Have convened workshops and conferences for specific audiences, such as: direct marketers, the gravure printing supply chain, graphic designers, and a group of organizations working to combat illegal logging.
