Who is Metafore?
Metafore is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that specializes in working with businesses to implement innovations relating to evaluating, selecting and manufacturing environmentally preferable wood and paper products.
In November 2009, Metafore joined GreenBlue, a nonprofit institute that works to enable the positive redesign of industrial systems. Read the acquisition announcement.
What does Metafore do?
Metafore works with business, government and other leaders to achieve and advance environmental goals in ways that make sense in the marketplace. By teaming with brand-name businesses, the power of their market influence can be mobilized to encourage better stewardship of the global environment.
Using diverse sources of funding since its inception in 1997, Metafore develops ideas, insights and credible information to create solutions.
